4Now when the days of his mourning were past, Joseph spoke to the household of Pharaoh, saying, “If now I have found favour in your eyes, please speak in the hearing of Pharaoh, saying, . . . ”

* “Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; A stranger, and not your own lips.” – Proverbs 27:2 [You have done Good in doing the first My Dearest Brother Joseph and it is an honour and a privilege to be that “stranger” in the hearing of The Children to you this day, in part second ☺️]

“And when the days of his mourning were past (i.e. at the appropriate God-ordained time; in that beautiful flow of the Good, Acceptable and Perfect Will of God that not only aligns accurately seasonally, but works out His Purposes for His People perfectly like a well-oiled machine), Joseph spoke to the household of Pharaoh (as reiterated in the previous section, now become a representation of the very “Household of God” [Eph 2:19], under the humble leadership, authority and direction of Pharaoh now yielded to- and become a Servant and Child of The Most High God through the blessed example and salvation wrought In His Name by Joseph: the Christ-type of His time), saying, “If (nevertheless, despite all these glorious undeniable truths, what precious, precious perfect humility and utter lack of presumption we behold in Our Dearest Joseph) now (at this critical junction, at this hour in time) I have found favour (oh but most absolutely Dearest Brother, if not such as you then who? [Prov 3:4 -> Luke 2:52]) in your eyes (in your estimation and esteem following careful consideration; even here Joseph oh so graciously leaves room for final contemplation, never coercing nor controlling, always inviting free-will concession alone, for despite his being in possession of The Whole Truth concerning all things [1 John 2:20], those called must enter into it willingly and freely), please speak in the hearing of Pharaoh (once again I stand amazed in the very literal light of Joseph’s humility: not only has he become an intimate friend of Pharaoh, his very right hand man even – effectively ruling his country at his bequest with deep wisdom and understanding and has granted him the very Gift of salvation – but he is here pleading for and acting on behalf of God Himself for the outworking of His plans in the coming request; and yet, and yet, and yet so mindful is he of the hierarchies and culture of honour instated by God as A True Monarchist, that he comes gently and reverentially with cupped hands to enter in upon the hearing of Pharaoh as one esteemed “the least of these”: how truly, truly Christlike he be in all things!)saying(and then, only then, Joseph speaks . . . ”
