Verse 19
“19Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants of Pharaoh; give us seed, that we may live and not die, that the land may not be desolate.”
– Genesis 47:19 (NKJV)
“Why should we die (that desperate cry for salvation [Acts 2:21]) before your eyes (when So Great A Saviour has been revealed to us; let us eat and drink of The Salvation he carries within His bosom 🤲🏽🤲🏽), both we and our land (let not such great potential – yielded lives and territories of influence; fertile ground – go to waste, but rather be taken up by Its Maker to display His Glory)? Buy us and our land (redeem our mortal bodies unto eternity and potentiate our earthly territories to influence this earth and gain an eternal inheritance as we sacrifice our all for so great a salvation) for bread (For The Bread of Life Itself [John 6]; The Very Word of God; that we may Taste and See that it is Good), and we and our land will be servants of Pharaoh (fully yielded to The Highest Authority to do with as He pleases, however He sees fit; for even without the revelation of becoming Sons – adopted into The Very Household of God – , to be merely bondservant is already esteemed most excellent and exceedingly desirable: for O the privilege of serving so Great A Master [Luke 15:17-19]; let our lands also become fertile territories to plant many fruit bearing trees unto His Honour for the advancement of His Kingdom and the widespread proclamation of Its Nature); give us seed (invest in us that we may yield unto You a rich harvest O Lord – tenfold, thirtyfold, a hundredfold – as You bring the rain and the increase, O Great Sower), that we may live (eternally) and not die (perish), that the land may not be desolate (as You never forsake us O Merciful LORD).”
